This week I’ll be write at the right day :)

So, in this post I’ll be writing about How I can be filled with the Holy Spirit?

In Joel 2:28 it says: “After this, I will pour out my Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions.”. In this text God tell us about what we christians will do in the future. We will tell people about Him so that He gets the glory!!

So what happens to us when the Holy Spirit comes into our lives?

As I said in last weeks post when we confess that we belive in Christ the Holy Spirit will move into our lives, into our hearts and help us when we’re in trouble, but only if we ask for it. We all will get gifts from God and that is gifts, you don’t have to earn it! It’s like when it’s your birthday, you don’t have to do anything to get gifts from your friends and family!

Paulus, whose name was Saul before he met Christ, he was against all christians and followed them. He was on his way to Damascus and then suddenly he saw a light and he fell to the ground and a voice said “Saul, Saul! Why are you presecuting me?’ Saul said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ The voice answered ‘I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting. Get up now and go inte the city. Someone there will tell you what to do.’” When Saul opened his eyes again, he was blind. He was blind for three days and he couldn’t eat or drink. A short verision, he finaly became a christian too and then for the rest of his life he went all over the world a talked about Christ and he does! (This was in Acts 9:1-21)

In the 1 Corinthians 14:2 it says “I will explain why. Those who have the gift of speaking in a different language are not speaking to people. They are speaking to God. No one understands them - they are speaking secret things through the Spirit.” So, speaking in “toughes” is a secret language that only God understands, it’s not ment for us humans to understand it. The praying language is great when you pray for others and it helps us to be prepared for the things that stands in front of us.

A woman once said: “I prayed the praying language 15 minutes every day for five/six weeks and didn’t feel anything. But after six weeks she stared to save people and talk about Christ with her friends. So even if you don’t feel anything in the begining, just keep praying because God NEVER says no!

But how can take this spiritual gifts from God? All we need to do is to say to God: “God, please, I really want to have the ability to speak wisdom to people (or what you want to get from God)” and then he give it to us, because that’s what he wants us to do. It won’t work if you doubt and is afraid, that will only bring us down!

And as I said last time, don’t be afraid to speak the praying language, it will only bring us closer to God!

Sorry that I didn't write last Sunday! I started to write pretty late and needed a friends notes from the weekend and she sent them yesterday night!

But here it comes!!

This weekend I've been at a small conference/camp with the teenagers from my church. We ate, slept, sang worship, had three small meetings and we all had a lot of fun!

So I thought that I could tell you about what we talked about at the meetings!!

The first subject was Who is the Holy Spirit?

So who is the Holy Spirit? Where does he live? He is living on earth with us and also in the hearts of the humans that belive in God!

It all begins in the genesis 1:2 :”There was nothing on the earth. Darkness covered the ocean, and God’s spirt moved over the water”. We see it all in the beging of the bible that the Holy Spirit exists.

When Jesus got baptised by Johannes the baptist, a dove came down from heaven and that dove is a symbol for the Holy Spirit. That’s when he came down to earth to stay with us!

Later in the Acts 1:8 it says: “But the Holy Spirit will come on you and give you power. You will be my witnesses. You will tell people everywhere about me- in Jerusalem, in the rest of Judea, in Sarmaria and in every part of the world”! That is cool, that in the very begining it sys that we will witness in every part of the world. We all need the Holy spirit to manage every day to be a witness. God has made us to be like Him and Jesus and to be like Him we have to live with the Holy Spirit in our hearts.

God want to give us all the gifts that He can give us and in the 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, they talk about some of all the gifts that God want to give us! He gives some the ability to speak with wisdom, some speak with knowledge. Other gets the gifts of healing and there is so much more  gifts that He want to gives us. We don’t have to do anything but ask to get the gifts from God + that we need to trust in Him that He will give us the gifts.

In Acts 2:1-4 it says: "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a noise came from heaven. It sounded like a strong wind blowing. The noise filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw something that looked like a flames of fire. The flames were seperated and stood over each other person there. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak different languages. The Holy Spirit was giving them the power to do this."

When we say that we belive in Christ, the Holy Spirit will move into our hearts and what we do then is called that reborn. Not like we became a child again. No, our spirit is born again and your spirit needs to be reborn to get in in heaven!

When you get the Holy Spirit in your life you will start to speaking in tongues. "Speaking in tongues" means that you start to talk the praying language and that's something good! Some people might think that you can't control it, but you can! It's not like when you're at work/school and you just start to talk the praying language! You deside when you want to talk/pray.

This is the first small meeting that we had last Friday in Friggesund!!

See ya at Sunday!!

Hi!

So I was going to write about something today but I couldn't figure out about what! So I asked my little brother William, 7 years old, and I gave him two opptions: my friend Sofie in Gävle or a movie. He said your friend in Gävle.

So this is about my best friend Sofie in Gävle.

Sofie is 17 years old, but she turns 18 in November. We met at Orbaden when we both went with our own church. We were about five or six teenagers there and when we ate food we all sat together, Sofie and a guy from Gävle, Daniel, Josef and me from Hudiksvall. We all had alots of fun and Sofie and I just matched, so we swiched number and since then we became friends at Facebook, added eachother at KIK, Instagram and other social media. Though we just met three or four times during the almost two years we have stayed best friends, helped eachother if the other one is feeling down.

This new years eve Sofie and her boyfriend Fredrik got engaged and I'm so happy for them!! Love U    And soon, in a few weeks/mouths they are comming up to Hudik and visit me!! I'm soo exited for that day!!

So this is my best friend Sofie!

I'd hope that U enyojed reading about her!
